Horror in camping
During a camping trip, the owners of a Jeep Wrangler had everything prepared for their long weekend. Tent, expensive survival gear, and they had brought their best friend with them: "Léo," a six-year-old Labrador.
While they were stocking up on supplies at the convenience store, their vehicle and everything inside it was stolen. Unfortunately, Léo was left inside the vehicle.
Our team managed to recover the Jeep Wrangler and the camping equipment.
However, Léo is still missing...
A concert to forget
An exceptional opportunity presented itself to a music group: to perform at a festival in Montreal. After loading their Dodge Ram 1500 with all their instruments, the band members went out for dinner before their performance.
Upon their return, they were dismayed to find that the vehicle and all the instruments had disappeared from the parking lot.
Fortunately for the group, even though they could not perform, our team found their vehicle and all their musical instruments intact in the trunk.
Death and complications
One of our first notable stories.
Towards the end of 2022, our team spotted a Honda CRV parked on the public road. We attached our boot, took photos, and then contacted the police. Using the information provided by the insurance company through "L!STE," we reached out to the owner to inform her about the recovery of her vehicle and the steps to retrieve it.
The woman, in tears, anxiously asked us if her father was still in the vehicle. Surprised by this question, we told her that no one was inside. She then revealed that her father had recently passed away, that the cremation had been carried out, and that his ashes were in an urn in the car.
Fortunately, they were still there...
Important contracts
We located a Ford F-150 thanks to its license plate flagged in our " L!STE " system.
Inside, amidst apparent disarray, were laptops, documents, tablets, and scattered keys. After securing the vehicle, we contacted the owner.
Grateful for the recovery, the owner, visibly stressed, was concerned about the fate of an important contract—his laptop and documents might be lost inside.
Fortunately, when he retrieved his vehicle, everything was still in place, bringing welcome relief to the owner.
A nation in mourning
Quebec Paralympic swimmer Aurélie Rivard faced a distressing situation when her 2019 Toyota RAV4 was stolen in Montreal. At the time of the theft, her gold medal, which she used to inspire during conferences, was inside the vehicle.
Despite efforts to locate the stolen vehicle, it remains missing, and the precious medal has not yet been recovered.
The loss of the medal, a significant symbol of her achievements, is a setback not only for Rivard but also for the country, representing a poignant loss for Canadian sports.

List of stolen vehicles
If we have not already received them, then we would like to obtain from your company a list including only public information relating to your customers' stolen vehicles.
This information would include the make, model, year, color, identification number and license plate, and would thus give us the mandate to recover the vehicle.
This approach would be of great use to us in facilitating the identification of stolen vehicles and in informing you quickly of developments relating to these incidents.

The bailiff's report
When our team spots a vehicle, whether in a parking lot or on the public highway, we immobilize it using a Denver boot. Then, we draw up a bailiff's report on the condition of the vehicle and we take photos of the damage noted.
This document prevents some of our customers from being subjected to abusive surcharges from certain garages and sheds light on the situation regarding damage that may have occurred after the vehicle was recovered by the police. This legal document aims to protect the condition of the vehicle against possible malicious persons.
